TGF-β gene polimorphisms as risk factors for asthma control among clinic patients

چکیده
Abstract Background TGF-β and its receptors play a crucial role in asthma pathogenesis, bronchial hyperreactivity, remodeling. Expression of isoforms 1–3 TGFβ cytokine is influenced by tagging polymorphisms the TGFβ1, TGFβ2 TGFβ3 gene, these SNPs may be associated with risk development severity as well other diseases. Polymorphic forms TGF-β1, TGF-β2 TGF-β3 genes regulate degree inflammation, deterioration lung functional parameters spirometry elevated level total IgE. All this results intensification disease symptoms. According to current GINA 2020 guidelines, Asthma Control Test (ACT™) should applied assess Methods An analysis localized was conducted on 652 DNA samples an application MassARRAY® system using mass spectrometry technique MALDI TOF MS. The control evaluated ACT™. Results occurrence T / C genotype rs8109627 ( p = 0.0171) TGF-β1 gene significantly higher ACT result (controlled asthma) multivariate linear regression model after backward stepwise selection variables. In addition, for prediction score we showed SNP 0.0497) (improvement - controlled rs2796822 0.0454) (deterioration diseases uncontrolled modify control. Discussion We described clinical significance two TGF-β2, yet unknown. proved that use both genotypes MAC allows create moderately correct prognostic which about 70% efficient entire set analyzed genes.

FOXP3 and TGF-β Gene Polymorphisms in Allergic Rhinitis
Background: Regulatory CD4+T (Treg) cells are effective in maintaining immune tolerance. Objective: To investigate single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of Transforming Growth Factor β-1 (TGF-β1) and Forkhead Box Protein 3 (FOXP3) genes in Iranian patients with allergic rhinitis (AR). Methods: Variations at codons 10 and 25 of TGF-β1 and FOXP3 at positions -3279 A>C and -924 A>G were evaluated...
متن کاملRisk factors for near-fatal asthma. A case-control study in hospitalized patients with asthma.
We prospectively recruited patients admitted to the hospital with severe asthma to comprehensively evaluate the association of historical and physiologic features with the risk of near-fatal asthma (NFA). A case-control study design was used. All patients admitted with NFA (cases) were identified prospectively and compared with asthma patients admitted during the same period without respiratory...
متن کاملThe effect of CD14 and TLR4 gene polimorphisms on asthma phenotypes in adult Turkish asthma patients: a genetic study
BACKGROUND Endotoxins stimulate T helper 1 cell maturation and send a negative signal to T helper 2 polarisation. This causes a decrease IgE levels and prevents atopy (Hygiene hypothesis). It is shown that this response is under genetic control by polymorphisms in CD14 and TLR4 genes in some researchs. We aimed to investigate the effects of genetic variants of CD14 (-) and TLR4 (Asp299Gly, Thr3...

متن کاملRisk factors for asthma
Asthma is the most common chronic respiratory disease of childhood, and even if there have been many advances in the understanding pathogenesis of the disease, many aspects remain to be clarified. In the pathogenesis of asthma are involved both “protective” and “predisposing” factors as a result of the complex interactions that occur between genetic predisposition and environmental exposure. Fr...
